With Halloween just a few days away you and your children are about to be faced with loads of candy that may taste good, but is BAD for you. So, I have been perusing the internet to bring you a variety of gluten-free, dairy-free, paleo and aip (autoimmune protocol) recipes. My hope is that armed with these tasty Paleo Halloween treats, your children will not even realize that they “missed out” on all the junk!
First up are these cute little Chocolate Cups from Paleo Leap. You can adjust the filling to your child’s favorite taste.
Paleo Leap also shared the idea for these tasty looking Chocolate Apples. You can roll them in whatever you like: coconut, nuts, sprinkles, etc.
These Nut-Free Bliss Balls come from An Aussie With Chrons. These would be a great treat for Halloween especially if you add in some cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice, if you can tolerate it.
Don’t these Pumpkin Spice Macaroons look great. This recipe is compliments of Breanna at He Won’t Know It’s Paleo. All of her recipes are AIP.
Snickerdoodles are a real favorite of mine. I love the spices. This is another great recipe from He Won’t Know It’s Paleo.
Nourishing Minimalism may have hit it out of the park with this one. Don’t these Caramel Apples look divine. My guess is that you could also use the caramel sauce as a dip for the apples. What a great treat that just screams fall.
This looks like a perfect way to get more coconut oil and cinnamon into your loved ones diet. And, they are so darn cute. I would make these Meltaways using a cute pumpkin candy mold this time of year. You could also switch out the cinnamon for a pumpkin pie spice.
Kelly over at A Girl Worth Saving shared this recipe for Paleo Pumpkin Spiced Marshmallows. They would be great by themselves. Or, you could float one in a cup of hot apple cider. Yum.
This is a great way to get fresh pumpkin into your diet without the taste of pumpkin. Elana at Elana’s Pantry made this Chocolate Pumpkin Chiffon Pudding for her husband who is not fond of the pumpkin taste. They look delicious and I especially love using the small mason jars to serve them.
PaleOMG shared this great recipe for Ooey Gooey Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bars. They look amazing.
How cute are these Pumpkin Parfaits! They would be great for a party or a fall picnic. And, I love apple butter. The recipe was shared by AIP Lifestyle.
If it’s not going to be chocolate then my hubbies next favorite are Oatmeal Cream Pies but these are actually oat free. Don’t they look sinful. This is another great recipe from He Won’t Know It’s Paleo.
Eating with dietary restrictions does not have to be boring or no fun. Try a few of these recipes this week and ensure that your Halloween is full of Treats not tricks.
Happy Fall to everyone and Have A Paleo Halloween!
